In order to be safe from intruders it is necessary to take some necessary steps. Here are few steps that help you to stay safe at home.

*Have big doors and windows at your house. It should be big enough for you to escape through it in case of any emergency.
*Don't trust any new person completely. If you have any new person at your doorstep doesn’t let them in immediately. Try to know who they are and what their purpose of being there is. Also never trust your neighborhood completely.
*Try to monitor the activities of your children. This helps you to keep you kids away from wrong path.
*If you hear any noise or disturbing behavior, take it seriously and find what made that noise.
*Try to find the real nature of your neighbors. Because it is very difficult to identify a bad person disguised as a good one.
* When you are inside your house make sure that you have locked all the doors, vehicles and windows.
*Try to have periodic inspections to identify any unwanted new things inside your house.
