Witness protection program is for giving protection for witnesses involved in any criminal cases. It is the duty of the members of this program to protect the life of the witnesses from criminals during the trial. In most of the cases the witnesses will be given protection until the case gets over but in some cases witnesses will be relocated, given a new identity and they will live under government's protection for rest of their life.
If I had to be relocated under witness protection program, I would like to move to San Francisco city in California. This is one of the most populous cities in United States and it has their own witness protection program. The members of witness protection program here assure the safety of their witnesses. USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight is all new crime drama starting this June 1st and it 's about Mary Shannon, a U.S Marshall working with highly secretive federal Witness Protection program. Her duty is to take care of relocated witnesses from all over the country. Many interesting characters are involved in this drama and it would be a big feast for crime series fans.
